The TAPPS 2024 Baseball V state champions Cardinals had several players pick up post-season honors.All-StateNate Boedeker and Ezekiel Rodriguez were chosen for First Team.Jack Leonard was selected for the Second Team.

Shiner softball: LC RETURN TO STATE AFTER 7-YEAR ABSENCE

Two straight frustrating season conclusions at the hands of the Weimar Lady Wildcats officially came to an end late last week.The Shiner softball team swept Weimar 7-3 and 8-2 to claim the Region IV-2A championship and qualify for the state tournament, which started on Tuesday of this week.

Shiner athletics: 2024 Sports Banquet

The Shiner ISD athletic banquet was held on May 13 to to celebrate this school year's athletic achievements and to hand out various awards.

Shiner baseball: Ganado beats Shiner in three games in RQ series

VICTORIA —  Shiner’s bid for a fourth-straight appearance at the state tournament came up short as they fell to Ganado 2-1 in the regional-quarterfinals series Thursday through Saturday at Riverside Stadium in Victoria.

Shiner track and field: Burns signs to run track at DBU

Hayleigh Burns has done a lot during her time as a member of the Shiner track and field team.This year, she ran the 1,600-meter relay, the 400, the 800 and competed in  pole vault. She was also an alternate on the 400 relay team at state.

Shiner softball: LC sweep Bremond to return to regional final

The Shiner softball team earned the regional-semifinal title with a sweep of Bremond, winning 14-1 Friday in Dripping Springs and 10-0 Saturday at Georgetown Eastview High School.The Lady Comanches did their homework and knew what to expect from the Lady Tigers.
