Twenty-four receive diplomas from SHCHS

Sacred Heart Catholic High School held its graduation ceremonies Sunday afternoon, May 17 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Hallettsville with 24 seniors receiving their diplomas.

The 2026 Sacred Heart Catholic High School Commencement Exercises will take place Sunday, May 17 starting at 3 p.m.The ceremony will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Hallettsville with 24 seniors receiving their diplomas.

The Annual Indian Teacher Appreciation Open Golf Classic is Saturday at Hallettsville’s Municipal Golf Course.The format is a three-person scramble with one tee time at 9:30 a.m.Everyone is invited to register to golf, make a cash donation or join in fun and fellowship.

SHCHS graduate ordained catholic priest

Caleb Krischke of the St. John area and a graduate of Sacred Heart Catholic High School received his ordination as a Catholic priest this past Saturday, May 30.The ceremony took place at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Victory with Victoria Diocese Bishop Brendan Cahill conducting the vows.
