47-Year old Woman killed in Highway 90-A crash

A two-vehicle crash involving a SUV and a semi-truck on U.S. Highway 90-A, four miles west of Hallettsville last Friday, resulted in a fatality.According to Texas Department of Public Safety Sergeant Ruben San Miguel, troopers responded to the crash at around 6:57 a.m.

Two perish in Hwy. 77 crash

A two-vehicle collision Thursday evening, resulted in both drivers losing their lives in the accident.According to a report from Texas Department of Public Safety spokesman Sgt. Ruben San Miguel, the fatal crash occurred at approximately 7:34 p.m. on Highway 77, north of Lavaca County Road 240.

Last Thursday, Lavaca County Emergency Management Services responded to a one vehicle accident that occurred on CR 132.The accident involved an MVA trash truck. “The call came in at 8:31 in the morning,” EMS Chief Michael Furrh said.
