Coach Henke gets his due

Former Sacred Heart Catholic High School athletic director and head football coach Pat Henke was recently inducted into the Texas Private School Sports Hall of Fame.Henke had been named to the inaugural HOF class in 2024, however at that time there was no official ceremony that took place.

Indians 5th, Indianettes 8th at State Track and Field meet

HEWITT – The Indians finished fifth and the Indianettes eighth at the TAPPS State Track and Field Meet Friday and Saturday at Panther Stadium.First place winners were Layne Sevcik in the long jump (20-9.75) and Rylan Dworsky repeated in the triple jump with a season best 36-5.

Tribe to defend state title after sweeping BSJ

WALLER – The Indians earned a return trip to Arlington after sweeping Bryan St. Joseph 15-5 and 11-0 at Bulldog Field in the TAPPS Division IV state quarterfinals Tuesday, May 5.The Indians won the nightcap 11-0 in five innings behind the onehit pitching of Charlie Shank.

Indianette juggernaut headed back to Arlington

WALLER –The Sacred Heart Indianettes will defend their TAPPS Division IV state title after run-ruling Bryan St. Joseph in four innings 17-0 in the state quarterfinals Tuesday, May 5.The Indianettes amassed 15 hits in the contest and hit two homers.
