YHS Bulldog Band Color Guard

This Saturday the Yoakum High School (YHS) Color Guard performed at Tuloso-Midway High School for Solo and Ensemble Contests.The judge was impressed by each performer.

YHS students named to the All-State Band

The Association of Texas Small School Bands (ATSSB) is pleased to announce the selection of the 2024 ATSSB All-State Band. More than 10,000 high school band students from across Texas auditioned in 22 different regions for a place in their respective all-region bands.

Stribrnanka Brass Band here May 24

The Stribrnanka Brass Band from the south Moravia region in the Czech Republic will be at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Hallettsville Wednesday, May 24.  Doors will open at 6 p.m. with an admission charge of $5 per person. The band will perform from 7 to 9 p.m.
