Softball to face Columbus; baseball to battle Lago Vista

The Yoakum softball and baseball teams have their respective playoff games set for this week.
Softball
The Lady Bulldogs play Columbus in the regional quarterfinals best-of-three series. All games will be played in Weimar. Game one will be 7 p.m. Thursday (tomorrow). Game two will be 6 on Friday with game three, if needed, to start 30 minutes after the completion of game two. Tickets are $5 adults and $3 for students.
Baseball
The Bulldogs face Lago Vista in the area round best-of-three series. All games will be played at Rattler Field in San Marcos (2601 McCarty Rattler Road). The first game is scheduled for 6 Friday; the second game will be played at 1 Saturday and if needed, game three will follow 30 minutes after game two.
