    Shiner and St. Paul softball, baseball and track athletes received several post-season awards.

    Softball
    All-State
    Sophomore Paeden Vincik and freshman Brinley Ramirez made the 2022 Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) All-State Softball Team.
    VA All-Area
    Vincik (.500 batting, 50 RBI, 10 home runs, 1.98 ERA, 18-5, 140 strikeouts, .973 fielding) was selected as Utility Player of the Year for the 2022 Victoria Advocate All-Area Team.
    Junior catcher Teresa Olivas (.426 batting, 46 RBI, .516 on base) and Ramirez (.472 batting, 25 RBI, 48 stolen bases, .833 fielding) at second base made First Team.
    Freshman  outfielder Callie Sevcik made Second Team and sophomore Rylee Vancura made Honorable Mention.
    Baseball
    All-State
    Several members of the 2022 Comanche state finalist baseball team received Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association (THSBCA) 2A All-State Team.
    Junior pitcher Ryan Peterson won First Team; junior catcher Bryce Nerada was named Second Team and junior shortstop Drew Wenske received Third Team.
    VA All-Area
    The Comanches had several players named to the 2022 Victoria Advocate All-Area Team.
    Peterson was named Most Valuable Player of the Year. He had a 14-0 pitching record, 0.53 ERA, 79 innings pitched and 151 strikeouts. Hitting, he had .541, 12 doubles, seven triples, two home runs, 38 RBI, 65 runs and .632 on base.
    Wenske was named Offensive Player of the Year with a .448 average, 14 doubles, two triples, three home runs, 48 RBI, 49 runs, 37 stolen bases and .548 on base.
    Head coach Daniel Boedeker and his staff were chosen as Coaching Staff of the Year for leading Shiner to a 34-1 record and second straight appearance at the state tournament.
    Senior first baseman AJ Patek and freshman outfielder Keenan Hailey made the First Team.
    Nerada made Second Team as catcher as did senior third baseman Bryce Filip and freshman outfielder Carson Schuette.

    Academic All-State
    Senior track athletes Megan Epley, Carley Pustka and Bailey Smith made the 2022 TGCA Academic All-State team.

    VA All-Area
    Senior pitcher Sydney Green made the Victoria Advocate 2022 All-Area team Second Team. Senior first baseman Rayleigh Biehunko got Honorable Mention.

    Senior pitcher Zak Johnson made the Victoria Advocate 2022 All-Area Baseball Team Second Team. Junior Fisher Davis and sophomore Nate Boedeker received Honorable Mentions.
