Sweet Home ISD providing school supplies for all its students

Sweet Home ISD recently announced via social media that it would once again be providing school supplies to all its students, except for ear buds and backpacks.

Parents will need to supply the final two items for those who need them.

All other basic supplies such as wipes, Kleenex, paper, pencil, crayons, colored pencils, scissors, glue, folders and composition books were purchased by the district and given to teachers for distribution in their classrooms.  

Also, supplies will be replenished by the district as needed throughout the year.  

“We can’t wait to see everyone in August!” superintendent Michele Turek said.
