Shiner Young Farmers awards scholarships, recognizes member with honorary award

    A.J. Patek, Jace Moeller, Hunter Nevlud and Bryce Filip are the 2022 scholarship recipients from the Shiner Young Farmers organization. The award is based on academic excellence, support of Young Farmers activities, and higher education pursuits. A.J. will attend Texas A&M and study Construction Science. Jace has chosen Blinn College- Bryan and later Texas A&M to study Ag Economics. Hunter will pursue a degree at Texas A&M in Animal Science. Bryce has chosen Blinn College-Bryan and later Texas A&M to study Ag Business. The Shiner Young Farmers organization thanks the public for its support of events that help to fund this scholarship program.

    Alfonse “Chief” Svetlik was given a special “Shiner Young Farmers Honorary Member” award in recognition of his outstanding support of the organization through the years.  He was presented the award at the Young Farmers Ladies Night dinner on August 11.
