Shiner Lutheran Church to hold barbeque fundraiser Oct. 23

On Sunday October 23, Shiner Lutheran Church will host a drive thru fundraiser barbeque from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the Arthur Kaspar Pavilion. The meal includes ½ BBQ chicken, giblet rice, green beans and dessert.
Tickets are $12 each and are available at Patek Grocery and Market, Howard’s, Parker Lumber, Boehm Tractor Sales, and the church office.
Although all BBQ meals are plates to go, the drive thru will also have a place for guests to pull over and support the Bake Sale and Country Store. In addition to home baked goodies there will be homemade food and craft items for sale.
Funds raised through all these efforts will be dedicated to debt reduction for the building loan that supported the renovation of the Lutheran Church, enabling the congregation to better serve the community of Shiner.
