St. Paul cross country: Lady Cards win RTC meet

    The St. Paul cross-country teams competed in the Round Top Annual Festival Hill meet on Oct. 8. Both varsity teams got top two with the Lady Cardinals taking first place.
     Girls
    The Lady Cardinals put their stamp on the varsity girls race with 30 points with the hosts RTC scoring 57 for second place.
    St. Paul had four of seven runners in the top individually with Brooke Cerny finishing first overall with a time 13 minutes. 15.01 seconds and a pace of 6:37 a mile.
    Dallyn Pesek was fourth in 13.54.29 (6:57); Kristin Cerny was seventh in 14:16 (7:08) and behind her was Nora Koch in 14:20.1 (7:10). Riley Mozisek was No. 12 in 14:42.6 (7:21) followed by Anna Reeves in 14:58.9 (7:29).
     Boys
    The Cardinals scored 59 points for runner up.
    Joseph Davis was the leader for St. Paul with sixth place in 18:27.96 (6:09). Trent Brown was eighth with 19:04.9 (6:21); Blaine Humes was No. 15 in 20:17.38 (6:46); Jacob Twyford was No. 17 with 20:30.79 (6:50); Hunter Zella was timed at 21:58.06 (7:19) and Jacob Seibert was No. 30 in 25:44.28 (8:35).
