Yoakum volleyball: Lady Dogs crush Palacios 3-0

Yoakum wrapped up the regular season with a 25-9, 25-10, 25-5 win over Palacios at home on Oct. 25 and secured second place in district.
Addison Pekar got five kills, one block; Madison Gonzales added two digs; Destiny Rios had two kills, two digs; Macie Williams had seven kills, three digs, two aces; Deazia Rios chipped in five digs, four aces’ Jayana Phillips had 17 kills, two blocks, one dig; Brianna Lopez had one kill; Samantha Adamek tallied three kills; Brooke Prasek added two kills; Leah Muenich had two digs, one ace; Macie Blakeney had 29 assists, nine digs, five aces, two digs, two aces, one block.

Yoakum won the junior varsity game 25-13, 25-15 and won the freshman match 25-15, 25-17.
