    Yoakum picked up several wins at the Port Aransas Tournament Thursday through Saturday to earn runner up. Jayana Phillips and Deazia Rios were named to the All-Tournament team.
    Yoakum 58, Odem 28
    The Lady Bulldogs defeated Odem 58-28 Thursday in the tournament.
    Yoakum 39, Porta Aransas 26
    The Lady Bulldogs outscored the tournament hosts 11-0 in the first frame and rolled to a 39-26 win on Thursday.
    Yoakum scored nine of 15 points in the second frame; the Lady Marlins went on a 13-9 run in the third to trim their deficit and Yoakum responded with a 10-7 run in the fourth quarter.
    Phillips produced another big game with 19 points and two triples, and also had nine steals, six deflections, four rebounds, three assists.
    Fling had one rebound; Gonzales had two rebounds, one assist, one deflection; Deazia Rios came up with two rebounds, two deflections,one steal; Fojt had two deflections, one rebound, one steal; Adamek had two rebounds, one assist; Destiny Rios had four rebounds, two steals; Destiny Rios produced four rebounds, two steals, two deflections; Pekar had six rebounds, two steals, one deflection; Wildrey added two assists, two deflections, one rebound, one steal; Schlegal had two two rebounds, two deflections, one assist; Harper had two rebounds, one assist.

    Phillips hit two triples and scored 10 points as Yoakum defeated Johnson City 33-26 on Friday.
    The Lady ‘Dogs led 15-10 after one quarter and held on the lead at halftime, 20-19.
    Each team scored five points in the third and Yoakum put the stamp on the game with an 8-5 run in the fourth.
    For the Lady ‘Dogs, Fling had one rebound; Deazia Rios added six rebounds, four deflections; Fojt had 11 rebounds, five steals, one assist; Adamek had one rebound; Destiny Rios produced five rebounds, five steals, one assist; Pekar had five rebounds, two steals; Wildrey had one steal, one deflection; Phillips had five steals, four assists, four deflections, three rebounds, two blocks; Schlegal contributed three rebounds; Harper had four rebounds, one assist.
