St. Paul track: Cards in action in Cuero

Several St. Paul track athletes took part in the Cuero meet last Thursday.
Girls
The Lady Cardinals placed sixth in varsity girls with 48 points.
Faith Machart won the shot put with 34 feet, 5 inches and won the discus with 103-2.
Ashlyn Pesek got Gold in the high jump with 5-2. Brooke Cerny was first in the 400-meter dash with 1 minute, 1.04 second and was second in the 1600 with 5:41.12.
Boys
The boys scored 14 points for No. 10.
Joseph Twyford was fourth in the shot put with 45-5 and eighth in discus with 127-2.
Trent Brown had a time of 16.13 to win the 110 hurdles.
