St. Paul baseball:Cards smash Warriors

Fisher Davis went 3-for-3, scored a trio of runs, had three RBI and had a double in St. Paul’s 18-1 win at Bulverde Bracken Christian on Monday to improve to 3-0 in district.
Jackson Ulcak got two hits, triple, double, run and four RBI.
Ulcak pitched five innings, one hit, one run, three walks and three strikeouts.
The Cardinal defense made a triple play in the second as catcher Davis caught a fly ball then threw to second baseman Cody Malinovsky for an out who relayed to first baseman Nate Boedeker for the third out on the runner attempting to return to base. Ulcak got three putouts.
St. Paul led 2-1 after one frame and outscored BBC 5-0 in the second and 3-0 in the third before scoring two runs in the fourth and half a dozen in the fifth box.
