St. Paul baseball: Indians score walk-off run to edge Cardinals 3-2
Sacred Heart’s K. Valcho hit a flyball to Zeke Rodriguez, scoring K. Chance for the walkoff run in St. Paul’s 3-2 loss to the Indians Thursday in Hallettsville.
Sacred Heart scored twice in the opening inning and the Cardinals rallied to tie the game at 2-2 with two runs plated in the third frame.
Jackson Ulcak led at the plate with two hits, two doubles and an RBI. Fisher Davis pitched 6 1/3 innings with six hits, three runs, four walks and eight strikeouts; Blaine Humes went 1/3 innings with two walks.
Humes had three putouts and one assist on defense.
