St. Paul volleyball: Lady Cards beat SM Hill Country

The St. Paul Lady Cardinals played a road match at San Marcos Hill Country on Thursday and played in the one-day Bellville Faith Academy Tournament on Saturday.

St. Paul 3, Hill County 1
The Lady Cardinals beat San Marcos Hill Country 25-23, 19-25, 25-17, 25-21. Dallyn Pesek had three aces, 34 assists; Tori Walker added seven kills;  Faith Machart produced five blocks, three kills; Emily Stamport had three digs, one kill; Sam Moeller had three digs, one ace, one kill; Stefany Pokluda had three digs.
 Riley Mozisek had a team-high 16 kills and had two blocks; Skylar Mozisek contributed four kills; Avery Pesek had three digs, two aces; Maurin Knesek had one ace; Emily Moeller had four kills and Kristin Cerny had two kills.

Bellville Faith Tournament
The Lady Cardinals played three and won three Saturday in the Bellville Faith Academy Tournament.
In pool play, St. Paul beat Bellville Faith 25-19, 25-22, 25-21 and Aristoi 25-20, 25-18, 25-20 to take first in the pool.
The Lady Cardinals closed out the tournament with a 25-13, 18-25, 16-14 win over Huntsville Alpha and Omega.
