    Shiner Heritage Quilters Guild enjoyed a festive Christmas party on Tuesday, Dec. 5 at the Shiner Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. 

    A delicious meal was catered by Werner’s Restaurant.  Members provided an array of desserts.

    A highlight of the evening was the drawing to win a packet of Christmas blocks sewn by members using fabrics that were chosen by the committee. A lively game of gift-sharing followed. 

    In the spirit of holiday giving, members contributed monetary gifts to the Shiner Food Pantry at the Methodist Church.

    The next meeting, on Tuesday, Jan. 9, will feature a program by The Square Quilter owner, Carol Daniel.  She will talk about making a three-yard quilt.
