Grants help decorate city during the holiday season
The Kluck Foundation, Inc. was established on May 11, 2004 by Leola Lampley Kluck, in order to provide resources for worthy causes in the Yoakum area.
Over the years, grants have been given to Bluebonnet Youth Ranch, Yoakum Community Hospital, First Baptist Church Food Panty, Friends of Carl and Mary Welhausen Library, Yoakum Volunteer Fire Department, Providence Christian Academy, Oil Patch Ministries, Yoakum Ministers Alliance, CASA, Norma’s House, St. Joseph Catholic School, Yoakum Little League, DeWitt/Lavaca Special Ed Cooperative, Yoakum Heritage Museum, Gabriel Project, and Yoakum High School seniors scholarships for higher education and trade schools.
The Kluck Foundation has given grants to the Yoakum Area Chamber of Commerce for more than $38,000 during the past two years for Christmas decorations for downtown area on light poles.
The Kluck Foundation is looking forward to continuing to support worthy causes in the Yoakum area.
