Hallettsville High School FCCLA Chapter members compete at Region IV Conference
Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) Chapter members attended and competed in events at the Texas FCCLA Region IV Conference Jan. 25-27 in Galveston. The 3-day conference included 2A to 6A schools from the the Greater Houston area competing in various Human Service related events, projects and tests. This is the first time in several years that Hallettsville High School has had an active chapter representing Hallettsville ISD at FCCLA conferences. Hallettsville FCCLA chapter members who brought home awards are:
Kendall Mayer: 1st Place - Texas Serving Up Success Level 2
Carson Barrera: 5th Place - Event Management Level 3
Laney Bible: Gold Medal - FSCA Etiquette
Nadia Evans - Bronze Medal - FSCA Interior Design
Kendall Mayer and Carson Barrera are advancing to state and will be competing in their events at the FCCLA State Leadership Conference in Dallas April 12-14.
