Mass Casualty Training Drill Friday, Aug. 2

Lavaca Medical Center and Lavaca County EMS in conjunction with local emergency response agencies and Hallettsville ISD, will be conducting a Mass Casualty Incident Training Drill on Friday, Aug. 2 from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Hallettsville Brahma Memorial Stadium parking lot. This Drill will be a mock School Bus Accident. The drill itself will be staged within the confines of the Brahma Memorial Stadium parking lot, and all participating/responding emergency agencies will be staged on the East side of the stadium, with the Accident Scene on the West side of the stadium. The drill will begin at approximately 7 a.m. and will run for approximately 2-3 hours. The entire Brahma Stadium parking lot will be blocked off and will be inaccessible to the public between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 2nd.
