St. Paul baseball: Cardinals rout Bishop Reicher 17-1

The Cardinals scored 12 runs in the first inning and sank Waco Bishop Reicher 17-1 in three innings March 18 at the Shiner Starplex for St. Paul’s first district win of the season.
The Cardinals plated five runs in the second inning. Reicher scored its lone run at its first time at bat.
Leaders for St. Paul at the plate were Joe Peters who was 2-for-2, two runs, six RBI and a triple, and Jack Ehrig who was 1-for-1, double, RBI and two runs.
Ezekiel Rodriguez got the win with one hit, one run, one batter hit, two walks and six strikeouts in three innings pitched.
