St. Paul track and field: Lady Cardinals win team bronze at state track
The Lady Cardinals scored 76.5 points for third place in the TAPPS state track and field meet Friday and Saturday at Hewitt Midway ISD’s Panther Stadium. The Cardinals scored 30 points for No. 11.
St. Paul won two Silver and three Bronze medals.
Girls
Jenna Stock got runner up in shot put with a best throw of 34 feet, 5 1/2 inches.
Kristin Cerny took second in the triple jump with 35-5 3/4; she came in fourth in the 800-meter run in 2 minutes, 33.3 seconds. She got fifth in long jump with 15-10 3/4.
Emery Kennedy was third in shot put with 33-1 3/4 and Karis Barta placed fourth, throwing 31-9 1/2.
Jessica Fikac placed third in discus with 108-8.
Nora Koch reached 8-6 in pole vault for third place; Emma Marshal tied for fourth with Allison Munnerlyn of Dallas First Baptist Academy with 8-0.
Skylar Mozisek was fourth in the 100-meter dash with 13.18 seconds and she was fifth in the 200 in 27.0.
The 400-relay team of Riley Mozisek, Cerny, Reese Chilek and Skylar Mozisek placed fourth with 53.87.
The 1600-relay team of Riley Mozisek, Cerny, Marshall and Clara Kinney was sixth in 4:31.65.
Boys
Gus Collins got fourth in the 110 hurdles with a time of 16.05 and got fifth in pole vault with 10-6. He got eighth in triple jump with 38-6.
Gage Anders was fourth in discus with 119-6 and earned fifth in shot put with 40-9 3/4. Sam Perez was fourth in the pole vault with 10-6 .
Gabe Darilek was seventh in the 800 with 2:12.88 and he finished the 3200 in 11:15.01 for seventh.
Jackson Seibert threw the shot put 39-2 3/4 for seventh place.
