The day a tornado halted the SP railroad in Moulton

On Saturday, Oct. 18, the annual Alton C. Allen Conference was held with a theme focusing on the railroad industry in Texas.

Hosted by the Lavaca County Historical Commission and in partnership with the Dickson-Allen Foundation, the event heard from a number of historical buffs regarding the railroads that ran through this area back in the day.
