Indians win one game in strong VISD Tourney

The Indians won one game in the Victoria ISD Tournament.

The Indians defeated Yoakum 8-3 Thursday.

Layne Sevcik came within a couple of pitches in pitching a complete game. Sevcik struck out 11, walked one and gave up five hits and two runs in 6.2 innings.

Yoakum took a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the second inning on a two-run single by Dillon Steinmann.
