    Following their return to the TAPPS state softball tournament, the St. Paul Lady Cardinals had several players receive All-State and All-District awards.
    St. Paul fell to rival Sacred Heart in the semifinals 12-2 and finished 2026 with a record of 19-8.
    All-State
    Presley Tuch, Tatum Walker and Reese Patek each received First Team.
    Making the Second Team were Presley Rother and Hayden Rother. Eden Rodriguez received Honorable Mention.
    All-District
    Tuch, Walker, Patek, Presley Rother, Hayden Rother and Eden Rodriguez each got First Team All-District.
    Second-Team All-District winners were Emery Kennedy, Annie Werner, Lexie Ulcak, Emori Rodriguez and Kristen Cerny.
    Receiving Honorable Mention were Sally Machacek, Clara Kinney and Addy Matias.
