Shiner volleyball: Shiner volleyball camp trains future Lady Comanche spikers

    The Shiner Lady Comanches Volleyball Program hosted its annual volleyball camp on May 26-27 for incoming 3rd-6th grade and 7th-9th grade athletes. The two-day camp was a tremendous success, with young athletes from across the area learning the fundamentals of volleyball while having fun and building relationships with teammates and coaches.Campers were divided by age group and received instruction in passing, setting, serving, hitting, defense, and overall game play. The camp provided opportunities for athletes of all skill levels to improve their volleyball knowledge and develop their skills in a positive and encouraging environment.
    A special thank you goes to the Shiner High School volleyball players who volunteered their time to help coach and mentor the younger athletes throughout the camp. 
    Their leadership, enthusiasm, and willingness to work with the campers helped make the experience both enjoyable and rewarding for everyone involved.
    The Shiner volleyball staff would also like to thank the parents and families for their support and for allowing their daughters to participate.  The future of Shiner volleyball is bright, and it was exciting to see so many young athletes eager to learn and grow in the sport.The Lady Comanches look forward to watching these campers continue to develop their skills and represent Shiner Volleyball in the years to come.
