Citizens speak out to council about stormwater incident

Two citizens spoke out to the Hallettsville city council regarding property damage due to stormwater infiltration in their house at the July 20 meeting.
This incident occurred on June 5 to Benjamin and Melissa Leita.
“This has been stressful,” Benjamin Leita said. “Stormwater caused the whole duplex to be flooded. This happened from the shower drain.”
