Historical conference happens Saturday in Hallettsville

The 25th annual Alton C. Allen Historical Conference will take place Saturday at the Kocian Building on the Courthouse Square in Hallettsville. The Lavaca County Historical Commission has four speakers lined up with their topics mainly focusing on the impact of the Civil War in Texas.
