Moulton Woman Cultivates Community Garden for Seniors

One local Moulton resident has been spreading joy at Shady Oak’s Nursing and Rehab by planting a garden for its residents to enjoy.Adeline Burton does housekeeping and dietary at Shady Oak’s Nursing and Rehab in Moulton. Her garden has been coming along nicely.

City Council receives request from Yoakum Garden Club

The City of Yoakum heard a request from the Yoakum Garden Club about potentially having a community garden within city limits at the Jan. 14 meeting.“We would like to establish a community garden within the city limits on city property,” Yoakum Garden Club representative Cynthia Mucala said.

Garden series continues in San Antonio

According to an article located on the Texas A&M AgriLife webpage, the Brown Thumb project will continue to offer classes March 8 through May 10 in San Antonio. The event is designed to help Texans become more proficient in gardening and landscaping the “Earth-Kind” way.
