Some of the older folks in Moulton may remember the snowstorm of 1949 — 75 years ago. Snow began falling in the early night of Saturday, Jan. 29, and continued and continued on Sunday, Jan. 30, 1949.

Moulton voters keep Zimmerman for mayor

Mark Zimmerman will remain as mayor for the city of Moulton, voters decided Saturday.
That’s after facing off for the post with former councilman Donald Wagner for the city’s top elected post as the only contested race on the ballots.
