MISD Transitions from ‘Amplify’ Following Community Feedback

The Moulton Independent School District gave an update of their Curriculum Advisory Committee.The committee was formed solely for the purpose of looking at new instructional materials for the upcoming school year. This committee consisted of teachers and members of the community.

Kyler Ferguson placed second in the district golf meet March 30 in Luling and competed at regionals earlier this week in Manor.

Moulton softball: Flatonia sweeps Kittens in district doubleheader

The Moulton Kittens were swept by Flatonia in a district home doubleheader on March 31, 6-0 and 19-9.Flatonia 6, Moulton 0 (Game 1)Karsyn Blahuta was 2-for-3 as Moulton got five hits but was unable to get a run home in a 6-0 loss in the opener.

Moulton softball: Kittens lose extra-inning game to Schulenburg

Moulton baseball: Hornets edge Moulton 4-3

The Louise Hornets scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to break a 2-2 tie and yielded one run in the top of the seventh to edge the Bobkatz baseball team 4-3 Friday in Louise.

Moulton softball: Kittens softball split with Ganado JV, rout Louise

The Kittens softball team split a doubleheader with the Ganado junior varsity and beat Louise 21-5 in district acton last week.Moulton 18, Ganado JV 1 (Game 1)The Kittens ouscored the Maidens 15-1 in the first inning and quickly ended the first game 18-1 in three inning.
