YHS Lady Bulldogs edge Edna to complete regular season

Teagan Ratley was 3-for-4, double, two runs and two RBI while Kilynn Poole hit 2-for-5 with two runs, two RBI and Faith McCloud got two hits and scored two runs as the softball team closed out the regular season with an 11-10 win at Edna April 14.

Major League Softball advances to Finals

EL CAMPO – With the aid of five errors, the Hallettsville Major League All-Stars moved into the finals of the Texas East State Tournament with a 7-3 victory over Columbus Sunday night.Paelyn Etzler continued her amazing pitching with 12 strikeouts in tossing a two-hitter and a complete game.

Major League Girls eke out 2-1 win over Refugio County

The Hallettsville Major League softball All-Stars pretty much had things their way in tournament play up until Monday evening in the Section IV Tournament.The All-Stars had to dig deep to pull out a 2-1 victory over Refugio County at Crane Field Monday evening.

10U Softball District 31 Champions

The Hallettsville 10U All Stars came from one game down in the best-of-three to defeat Seguin 18-8 and clinch the District 31 championship here Monday night. No particulars were received from this game.Hallettsville forced a third game with an 8-2 victory here Sunday night.

Major League Softball wins District 31 Championship

CUERO – The Hallettsville Major League girls defeated Shiner, 9-2, Saturday to clinch the District 31 championship.Paelyn Etzler pitched a two-hitter and struck out seven. Etzler retired the first seven batters she faced before walking Patricia Price in the third inning.

Indianettes dominate All State softball team

To the victors go the spoils.The Sacred Heart Indianettes dominated the TAPPS Division IV all state softball team with six first team selections and two on the second team.First team selections were Ava Lackey, Haley Noska, Ella Demel, Rylan Dworsky and Avery Beach.

CUERO – The Hallettsville Major League softball Red team ravished Seguin, 18-0, in the opening game of the District 31 East Zone Tournament Saturday evening.The game was called after two and a half innings because of the run rule.
