Staff Writer      It is no surprise to most people that I am inquisitive about the past.And I'm not only curious about events that happened long ago, but I often ponder the history of old homes, buildings, and forgotten places.
The LCHC was one of 83 county historical commissions throughout the state to be honored. Kreische Brewery and Monument Hill State Historic Sites with hold its annual Monument Hill Remembrance Day observances from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, the historic site at 414 State Loop 92, located near the Bluff, overlooking La Grange.
