“Garden Beauty” float showcases past Royalty Queens in 2025 Tom Tom Parade

The Yoakum Heritage Museum (YHM) hosted the second biannual Past Queens Float with 16 riders floating down W. Grand Ave. in Yoakum for the 97th annual Tom Tom Parade.

The Yoakum Area Chamber of Commerce presents the 96th Annual Tom Tom Festival May 31-June 2.The tradition begins at the Community Center with the fan-favorite Miss Yoakum pageant on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. as the carnival debuts alongside the rodeo arena.

Tom-Tom Kiddie Parade to be held May 31

The Tom-Tom Kiddie Parade will be held on May 31. This year’s parade will be in downtown on Lott Street. Check-in will begin at 5:15 p.m., entries should be in place by 5:45 p.m., and the parade will start at 6 p.m. All children through age 12 are invited to participate.
