The Lavaca County Commissioners’ Court met in a regular meeting Monday and heard from public health nurse of Lavaca County for the Texas Department Health Services Lavaca County Lauren Werner R.N.

Burn ban lifted

After hearing from Lavaca County EMS assistant chief/Lavaca County Fire Chiefs Association liaison Tim Decker at its Tuesday morning, April 14, meeting, the commissioners’ court voted to lift the burn ban in the county.

Court holds Tuesday meeting

The Lavaca County Commissioners’ Court held its regular meeting on Tuesday and due to deadline for printing the papers, a detailed report of the meeting will appear in next week’s issues.

Court ratifies burn ban order

The Lavaca County Commissioners’ Court met in a brief special-called meeting Monday morning and ratified the burn ban order installed by County Judge Keith Mudd on March 30.
At the Monday, March 23 Lavaca County Commissioners’ Court meeting, the court approved a proclamation designating Sunday, April 12 as Hallettsville Methodist Church Day. The Lavaca County Commissioners’ Court met in a regular meeting on Tuesday, March 10 and approved the law firm of Allison, Bass and Mcgee LLC for counsel in renewing, updating and/or revising the Lavaca County guidelines and criteria for granting tax abatements in a reinvestment zone.
