104 dead in Texas floods, with 10 still missing from girls camp

By Murray Montgomery  -  Staff Writer Catastrophic flooding struck central Texas on Friday, July 4th, causing a surge of 20 to 26 feet on the Guadalupe River near Kerrville, resulting in drownings, people missing, and widespread damage.

Flash flooding still in the forecast ...

In addition, to approximately four-plus inches of rain the area received on Tuesday, May 9, an additional another approximate four inches fell Saturday, May 13 causing extensive flooding in low water crossings on county roads.
