Schroeder achieves 40 years of judicial service

Judge Gary J. Schroeder (Shiner High School Class of 1971) achieved a recognition that most Judges never do, serving actively for over 40 years as a Municipal Judge. He has worked for the Municipal Court for the City of Shiner for over 25 years and continues to serve as its Prosecutor.

Shiner FFA fruit sale orders due November 10

The Shiner FFA fruit, meat, and dessert sale is underway. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and it’s set for a “Christmas” delivery so sometime around the first week of December it will be delivered to campus and the students will distribute to customers.

The St. Paul Cardinal band recently celebrated the two students who were selected as Band Beau and Band Sweetheart for 2022. Emily Moeller and Charlie Pilat, both juniors, were named Beau and Sweetheart at the Parent’s Night football game. Congratulations to these students on this honor!

It’s time to move our clocks back one hour with Daylight Saving Time beginning during the pre-dawn hours Sunday morning, Nov. 6.
The official change to standard time takes place at 2 a.m., but you are recommended to set your clocks back one hour before retiring for the night on Saturday evening.
