Lavaca County District Court in session

The Lavaca County District Court was in session on Monday, Feb. 9 with Judge William D. Old presiding over a mixed criminal, civil and juvenile docket.

During the session, one defendant plead guilty to possession of cocaine. Sentencing in that case was moved to a later date.
