Lavaca County Felony Cases End in Plea, Arrest Warrant

Two felony cases scheduled for trial in Lavaca County District Court in April instead resulted in a guilty plea and an arrest warrant, according to the Lavaca County Attorney’s Office.

Judge William D. Old III presided over the proceedings, during which a large pool of prospective jurors reported for duty. However, neither case proceeded to a jury trial.
