Shiner Public Library gearing up for Summer Reading Program

The Hoffie and Lank Wolters Shiner Public Library is gearing up for its summer reading program. The program will begin Wednesday, June 5 and last until Wednesday, July 10. All children aged four through grade four are asked to register at the library during regular library hours.

The Yoakum City Council has tabled a couple of requests made by Yoakum Emergency Medical Services at the April 9 meeting.One of these requests were for the addition of two full-time employees for the EMS department.
