Farm Bureau calls for speakers at national conference

By SUNNY ANDERSEN The American Farm Bureau Federation is accepting proposals for workshops and presentations for the 1,100-plus farmers, ranchers and Farm Bureau staff from across the country who will attend the 2023 FUSION Conference March 3-6, 2023, in Jacksonville, Fla.

Catholic School work camp offers more than just a hard day’s work

What do you get when you take 60 kids, give them 18 separate work projects and then send them forth, all over town, on three of the hottest days yet this year to get it all done? Well, the answer to that question depends entirely on two items, really.

The Spoetzl Brewery Charitable Fund committee recently donated $2,500 to Community Connections of Lavaca Country to help offset fuel and maintenance costs of the vehicles used for public transportation and meal delivery to our local citizens.

Moulton ISD announced Friday, June 17, that Victoria Nieto Ortiz was hired to fill the vacancy at the elementary campus, which opened when current principal April Simper resigned her post to the MISD board of directors at their regular monthly business meeting held earlier this month.
