    Quarterback Levi Werner rushed for 120 yards and two touchdowns, and was 5-of-5 passing for 69 yards and one touchdown as Shiner improved to 2-0 with a 32-7 win in their first-ever meeting with Orange Grove Friday in Orange Grove. 
    Tyler Harvey also eclipsed 100 yards as he had 104 yards on 10 carries and one touchdown. 
    Clayton Fric ran for 71 yards and one touchdown. Kaden Neskora caught three passes for 45 yards and one touchdown.
    Werner got the party started with a 52-yard run 90 seconds into the game to cap a four-play, 72-yard drive.
    Orange Grove punted on their first offensive series but came up with a fumble recovery at the Shiner 37 and went five plays, scoring on a 2-yard run by Daniel Bahn with 4:02 left in the quarter.
    The Comanches took the lead for good on a 58-yard run by Fric at the 1:53 mark of the quarter to finish a four-play, 72-yard drive.
    Neither team had any points in the second quarter; the Comanches did reach the Bulldog 14 and missed a 32-yard field-goal attempt.
    Orange Grove then had a 16-play drive that went from their 20 to inside the Shiner 40 but the half ended before the home side could score.
    Shiner recorded 18 points in the third frame. 
    Harvey scored on a 62-yard run on the Comanches’ first offensive play of the second half for a 20-7 lead after a missed point after.
    Later in the quarter, Shiner got a 56-yard run by Werner at the 3:35 mark and another score with 15 seconds left on a 26-yard pass from Werner to Neskora. 
    Shiner’s defense forced four punts and intercepted two passes.
