Brahmas open District with 41-7 victory over Smithville

SMITHVILLE – As expected, the Hallettsville Brahmas defeated Smithville Friday night 41-7 in the District 13-AAA opener for both teams.

Quarterback Will Halata threw four touchdown passes and scored another in the rout.

The Brahmas are 4-1 overall while Smithville dropped to 1-4.
