Yoakum tennis places second at Beeville

The Yoakum tennis team has competed in the Beeville and Wharton tournaments as well as a home tournament to start the season.

Yoakum got second place overall in the Beeville Tournament on Jan. 28.

Kanin Jacob and Emily Sanchez got first in mixed doubles; McKenna New and Clayton Shimek received fourth in mixed doubles.

Vence Martinez and Julian Espinosa got third in boys doubles.
