Shiner volleyball: Lady Comanches JVP win Flatonia tourney

The Shiner Junior Varsity Purple volleyball team won the Flatonia Tournament last weekend with wins over Rice, Hallettsville, Schulenburg and Sacred Heart.

Shiner cross country: Shiner boys place third at home CC meet

The Shiner varsity boys cross-country team got third place at the home meet on Saturday while all three varsity Lady Comanches were in the top 10.Varsity Girls 1A-2AMegan Burns led the Lady Comanches with sixth place in 14 minutes, 56.89 seconds.Jewel Caka was eighth in 15:45.
