Local high school football: Football teams open season

Shiner volleyball: Shiner wins four at Schulenburg Tournament

St. Paul football: Cardinals battle Schulenburg and Bartlett in final scrimmage

SCHULENBURG — The St. Paul football team got a clear gauge on where they were at following a tri scrimmage against two tough opponents.The Cardinals got two for the price of one as they battled Schulenburg and Bartlett at David Husemann Memorial Stadium on Thursday.
