Moulton cross country: Kittens win district cross-country championship

Moulton hosted the 30-1A cross-country meet on Oct. 11 with the Kittens taking the top spot in the girls varsity race. Varsity Girls The Kittens scored 20 points to claim the district title with Pettus coming in second with 35 points.

St. Paul football: Cards close out non district with loss to SA Holy Cross Knights

St. Paul ended its non-district schedule with a harrowing loss at San Antonio Holy Cross 53-19. St. Paul was held to just 273 yards on the ground and another 73 through the air. The Knights got 208 rushing and 237 passing for 445 yards.

Shiner football: Shiner continues momentum with 45-30 win over Three Rivers

The Shiner Comanches are continuing to pick up steam. Shiner (2-5) went to 2-1 after three district games following a little bit of a shootout, outscoring Three Rivers 45-30 Friday at Comanche Stadium.

Shiner cross-country: Lady Comanches win district title; Boehm qualifies for regional
