Shiner football: Shiner falls to Ganado in district opener

The Comanches’ attempt to get their ship sailing in the right direction continued Friday in the 15-2A opener against Ganado. The Indians scored two touchdowns in each half and held Shiner to one score in a 28-6 decision.

SH Takes Over Sole Possession of 1st

The Sacred Heart Gym was rockin’ Thursday night as the Indianettes banished St. Paul 25-16, 25-21, 25-16 to take over sole possession of first place in TAPPS District 5 Division IV. The cream rose to the top with Annika Brooks putting on quite a show for the Indianettes.

Indians Claim Another Victim in Northland Christian

Brahmas in Bounce Back Victory Over CC, 27-7

SAN ANTONIO – The Hallettsville Brahmas righted the ship in a hurry with a 27-7 victory over San Antonio Central Catholic Friday night. The Brahmas gained 402 yards of total offense - 281 rushing and 121 passing, while the defense gave up 244 yards.
