Shiner cross country: LC harriers place third at Moulton XC meet

The Shiner cross-country teams competed in the 35th Annual Moulton Cross-Country meet Saturday at City Park in Moulton, bringing home a medal. Varsity Girls The Lady Comanches recorded 106 points to place third in their division.

Shiner football: Poth rallies to hand Shiner 31-7 road loss

Down 7-3 to Shiner after one quarter, the Poth Pirates scored four unanswered touchdowns over the final three quarters, including two following Shiner turnovers, to send the Comanches home with a 31-7 loss. The Comanches (0-3) struggled with turnovers, turning the ball over four total times.

St. Paul football:First-half flurry of points gets SP past Dallas CHE

Going on the ground and through the air, the St. Paul Cardinals put up 48-first half points to get a 48-30 win over Dallas Christian Home Education homeschool team Saturday afternoon in Temple. St. Paul outscored CHE 21-0 in the first quarter and 27-16 in the second box for a 48-16 halftime lead.

Yoakum football: Cuero gets late score to edge Yoakum 41-34
